Dennis R Fehling:about a year and a hlf ago

Dr. Debbie:Okay - did she ever have a heat cycle before the spay?
Dennis R Fehling:she was just going into heat when she was spayed
Dr. Debbie:-
Dr. Debbie:Okay. Does the vulva now look as big as when she was in heat?
Dennis R Fehling:i don't think she completed her cycle
Dennis R Fehling:I have never nitoced it this swelled before
Dr. Debbie:-
Dr. Debbie:Okay,.
Dr. Debbie:If she is spayed, then she shouldn't have any of the hormone influences that cause the vulva to enlarge
Dr. Debbie:but she can still have infection or vaginitis causing that.
Dr. Debbie:How is her appetite and energy level?
Dennis R Fehling:her appetite is always very good and she is a very good drinker
Dr. Debbie:-
Dennis R Fehling:enrrgy is great
Dr. Debbie:I would say you have to possibilities
Dr. Debbie:either a vaginitis or a hypersensivitiy - if she has been sitting on something that has been cleaned with an irritating cleaner, etc.
Dr. Debbie:Your vet should be able to tell from having a look.
Dr. Debbie:You will either need an antibiotic or steroid or possibly both
Dennis R Fehling:we use all natural cleaners in house
Dennis R Fehling:ok we will make and appointment tomorrow
