I can replace the switch, it is no problem but it might be a problem with the latch

Accepted Answer

If it clicks but does not open, it is a problem with the latch. Try spraying some wd40 inot the latch to make it work better.

Already tried that too, but i used a silicon based spray. But even if that works should i just replace the latch?

Answer

It would be best to replace the latch.
