Hello, what is your age and gender?
What have you tried so far?
How long has it been a problem?
Any strong odor or color with the urine?
Thank you for the extra information. In a young man, the first thing is to eliminate possible urinary tract infection through urine test, however as you have had the problem for so long then this may actually be an Overactive Bladder Syndrome.
It sounds like your doctor thinks this too and has started on medication which may often help, however it is important that you are managed by a urologist or doctor experienced in handling this problem.

You should have some urodynamic testing to understand where the problem is, and also rule out an underlying physical problem that may have been missed.
Lifestyle adjustments can help in some people, cutting out caffeine is one measure and ensuring that your urine is dilute through increasing fluid intake will reduce the irritation on the bladder although you will need bladder retraining initially to cope with the extra fluid.
This is a more common problem than you may think, so do seek an experienced doctor.

It is good that bladder infection has been ruled out. If you explain about the daytime symptoms to your doctor then that will help establish a full picture of an overactive bladder.
There is a new medication available that may be worth looking into: here, although it is possible that you have tried it already.
