Below is a link to a parts diagram that may help. To change the impeller you remove the ride plate from the bottom of the pump. Remove the steering nozzle from the rear of the pump. Disconnect the cooling hose from the pump. Remove the four nuts that hold the pump to the hull. The pump has a rubber seal that fits tight to the intake housing on the hull. You will probably have to give it a few blows with a shot filled rubber hammer and then gently pry on the front mounting flanges. Be gentle so that you do not break off the flanges. The pump slides off when the seal is free. The drive shaft stays in the hull but may slide rearward with the pump.until the splines slide off of the pump. Once the pump is off you will need a splined tool to hold the pump shaft from turning. If you don't have the tool it might be easier just to take the pump to the local Kawasaki shop and have them install the impeller for you.
