Answer

Have you verified the cooling system is full and completely bled of all air? If so then check there is good flow thru the system (from the thermostat thru the radiator, both rad. hoses and back to the engine). If the flow is good and the coolant fans come on around 230 degrees and go out around 210-215 and still over heating suspect a faulty head gasket and/or cylinder head that's warped or cracked. These engines are known for the head gaskets to blow and cause overheating issues. The best way to find if head gasket is by using a block tester. They "sniff" the coolant vapors for signs of compression or combustion gases. If positive the test fluid turns from a dark blue to a light green.
