nothing, we're waiting for an oncology appointment in 8-10 days, if we can get the cat to eat and drink.

Answer

There are many protocols for treating lymphoma in the cat. One of the most basic one involves a 3-drug regimen, which is relatively inexpensive. It also depends where in the body the lymphoma is; some forms of lymphoma do better with certain drugs than others. For example, GI lymphoma in cats does very will with Lomustine. Your vet can refer you to a veterinary oncologist.

Because I am aware of the different forms of lymphoma,I was hoping for an estimated range of costs, again realizing that these are only ballpark figures which differ by type of lymphoma as well as by treatment provider and area of the country.

Accepted Answer

We cannot give specific quotes online, as we do not have access to price structures of various veterinary clinics and costs vary significantly based on many variables. You will need to have the pet seen and ask the veterinarian for a quote for your specific situation. They should be able to work with you within your price range without a problem, as there are many cost effective protocols for lymphoma.
