Question

I have a 2000 E450 econoline, I had a hitch put on and the light cord dragged until bar wires may have connected. I have since fixed the wires. In the meantime, there was some malfunctioning with the high beams (when the wiring problem occurred). Now the blower fan won''t blow. I recently replaced both ac compressors and the rear air works fine but the blower for the front ac system has nothing. When you move the switch you can hear the switching inside and the appropriate noises other than the blower. The fuse and relay are working.
For the last question like this you provided pictures but only the question asker could see those photos. Can you help?

Answer

The picture in the post you referred to was probably a wiring diagram, which I am attaching below. It shows the blower motor relay, wiring, speed control resistors, and switches. Firstly, you should disconnect the blower motor and check to see if it is getting any power when the switch is turned on. You can use a test light or voltmeter on the wires that should provide power to the blower (Orange/Red stripe, and Orange/black stripe). The clicking you hear may be the blower motor relay in the underhood fuse box. When it clicks, it should delive power to the Orange/Red if the 50A fuse13 underhood is good. The ground side of the blower motor goes through a different resistor for each selected speed, to slow the fan down. The resistor block is located on the plenum, underhood near the blower so that airflow from the blower fan keeps the resistors cool.

Here is a picture of the battery junction box (fusebox underhood) to help identify the relay:

Reply to Brian's Post: where do you find the blower motor, from inside through the dash?? what is easiest? It is very tight under the hood.

Thanks

The blower motor is accessible from under the hood. I attached some pictures to show it better:

This one shows the blower motor:

The numbers go along with some of the steps of the removal process:
  1. Disconnect the electrical hardshell connector.
  1. Remove the blower motor housing tube (19A786).
  1. Remove four screws.
  1. Remove the retaining clip.
  1. NOTE: To ease removal, align the flat spot on the blower motor mounting plate with the accumulator.

Before getting to these steps, you must first remove the battery, then the battery tray, then remove the mounting screws of the accumulator so it can be pushed aside. The accumulator is the black cylindrical canister that connects to the air conditioning hose. It is not totally removed, just pushed out of the way slightly for access to the blower motor.

Below is a picture showing the resistor location next to the blower motor:
