Question

i like to join the military, all my paperwork is done and ok but i am subpoena as a witness in Dec. Now i can''t join before this courtcase is settled and it may go on even longer then Dec. Is there anything i can do ? I feel punished for being a witness

I think you can still join the military. The court and the military will need to work out arrangements for your testimony. This may be able to be done by deposition or by videoconferencing.

Talk to your recruiter and ask them to help you with the court and the attorneys.

That is unusual if you are just a witness.

My next suggestion would be to get a lawyer and petition the court to "release" you from the subpoena so you can join up. As I said earlier, there are a number of ways to preserve your testimony such as depositions that don't require you to be there.
