we changed the spark plugs in the truck and also replaced the fuel filter the same day, it was running smooth and nice, 2 days later it started misfiring and shaking, we checked all plugs and replaced them with better plugs , same result, then all of a sudden it started running smooth again, but after about 5 minutes of travel the shaking and mis firing came back, any ideas what it could be, cables are fairly new, thanks, alex

I don't know what year or model you have but I can tell you to replace the spark plug cables with ones from Ford and use Autolite spark plugs at the same time. This will give you an excellent base from which to proceed if needed. Do this and get back to me please.
