Accepted Answer

There are two ways to approach this. The first is to take it to a Jag dealer can program it to disable the unit. This is the preferred method.

The second method would be to remove the security control, or unplug the unit. In the 1993 there is a very good chance this will totally disable the unit. It may have some ties to the BCM where this could cause the vehicle to not start. If this is the case the unit would have to be reconnected and it would have to be disabled through programming at a Jag dealer.

The unit is in the left rear of the Jag. Here is what the manual says about removing the unit. If you have any more questions I am here to help. Good luck, and Thanks for using Just Answer.
