there is no on off button   i pressed off and now the display is dark just off how do i bring consumption screen back

again, there is no on/off   the screen is dark cannot get back to consumption screen there is just an off button

2008 prius on display it just reads screen off   there is no option that shows to put screen back on. cannot get back to consumption screen

Push the display button on the side of the multifunction display, the screen should show "settings" touch this button on the screen to get the screen on/off button on the screen, touch the ON button. To get to the consumption/energy screen press "info" to the right of the screen then "trip info" on the screen then the "energy" or "consumption" button on the screen whichever you prefer. Also check your owner's manual for any information regarding the multi display functions. If nothing seems to help let me know, I don't have access to a prius at this time but I can check tomorrow when I'm back at work.
