Question

My cat just had a single newborn kitten 2 days ago and suddenly relocated the kitten in a different area of the house for no evident reason.... Any ideas as to why?

Hello,

The moving of a kitten or kittens is an instict that mother cats have. They do this to throw any potential preditors off the track of finding the kitten. Most mother cats will do this a few days to a week after birth. Joan
