they would also be good resources to contact to get the word out about your boy being gone.
Sometimes rescuers have resources to help locate a missing animal.
Check with every local veterinarian in case some good samaritan brought him to a vet.
Also check with the public works department as they are often responsible for picking up animals killed by cars.
Mail carriers are good resources to get to keep an eye out for your pet too.
Go all around your neighborhood checking places that might have accidentally shut him in and check your property too. I'm in New England and I found one of my cats trapped inside a lobster trap in the center of a pile of them so you just never know where a cat will explore!
