you will need to remove the door trim and go right to the window motor wiring connector to test and see if the motor is bad or not. just a matter of unplugging the motor and substituting a 12 volt test light or a volt meter in the end of the harness, in place of the motor. If you use a test light and the light comes on when you turn the key on and work the window switch, then the window lift motor is bad. (Very high failure rate item on GM cars.) Then it is just a matter of replacing the motor. If the test light does not come on or you get no voltage reading, suspect a bad master switch or a broken wire between the switch and the motor. If you need instructions on the door trim I will need to know if it is an SLS or an STS model. Thanks
