my 1999 boxster turn signal only turns left signal ,i can turn right manually by holding signal but will not pass inspection

Greetings XXXXXXXX,

 

If I understand you correctly your directional switch works fine on left turns , but wont hold position on right turns....You have to hold it down manually otherwise it kicks back....if this is correct your problem is inside the directional switch itself....I have seen this on several vehicles in the past and there are no serviceable parts inside the switch...it must be replaced as a unit....IfI may be of further service to you please let me know...jeffrey590
