Not a Bird Question?
Question
I no longer need an answer while we were waiting she pulled it out and there is no bleeding. So I do not need the question answered. Thanks and I am sure i will have more questions to come.
My U2 Gracie injured a blood feather last night somehow. There is a little bit of blood (dried)but not much and the bleeding appears to have stopped. It is an underside wing feather and it is laying somewhat out of place now. She wont let me touch it either. I have read a little about pulling the blood feather but am not comfortable doing that. Can she bleed out from a blood feather? She seems to occasionally be picking around it and I am just concerned because I read a website that said birds can bleed out from this.
