I am so sorry about your dog. My heart goes out to you. My sincerest sympathy.
If she was not reacting to light she did have irrepairable brain damage. I am sure your vet advised you correctly and you made the right decision.
If your vet thought she could be helped he would have done everything possible.
A seizure of that duration is not survivable.It disrupts the brains electrical impuses.
Once again, I am so very sorry this happened.
