I hope I can help you with this. Usually the disk you purchase from Navteq is only the maps and all that is required is to insert it into your nav computer and it should load the maps. If it is an actuall GPS software disk then the process should be very similar. It should insert into the Nav computer, make sure your engine is running so your battery does not drain as it may take a bit for it to load. Enter the Nav section on the display and it should load. Please let me know your results.
In the dealership we would update the Nav software using our programming station. Is it possible that the disk you have is only the updated Maps for the region. In that case they should load when inserted into the Nav computer.
