Question

i just installed a cd player in my gmc truck it is a factory unit . i just unpluged old sterio ,pluged in the cd player . now my ac will dissengage when i turn on the fan . as long as the fan is in the off position the ac works. also the air controll will only blow air out on the floor ,everything worked perfect until i installed the sterio whats up

my truck is a 1998 gmc sierra

I suspect that you disturbed one of the connectors on the back of the AC unit. Also, you could install the old radio and see if it returns to normal.
