Answer

I would replace the blower motor resistor. Also make sure the small black hose that cools the motor is installed properly.

Posted by GM Tech 500 days and 17 hours ago.

Answer

If the blower operates on all speeds, the resistor is OK. If you have had 3 motors fail in 3 months, either there is something different wrong with the resistor, or you are buying the wrong brand of motors.

its not the harness its the connector to the motor i checked the harness its good.the motor its self keeps going bad

Answer

Check the terminals inside the connector for and damage or signs of overheating. Cutting out like you said will cause rapid motor failure.

if they are overheated

Answer

The terminals will be blue and possibly bent out of shape. If this is the case, you need to place the connector.

Answer

Good job. Don't be afraid to run a new ground to the body to ensure it will last.
