Was the Bill passed and does it require an applicant to be accepted if he has experience in the rescue squad in his residence. My client has seven years experience, responds to about 50% of the calls in his home town rescue squad,is well respected and qualified by his Chief, whose office is approximately 125 feet from the fire house and although the decision was purely "by a vote of the members" and not based on race, age, religion, qualification, competency or any other possible reason,his application should have been accepted if the fire department.honors its commitment to the community it serves and from whom their income is derived through real estate taxes.

Accordingly there is no rational or logical reason for an applicant to be denied membership when the ambulance is often not able to respond between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday. All departments are crying for volunteers, as is this one my client applied to
