Info Request

Hello XXXXXXX,

Do you mean the a/c only works when over 2k or the blower motor itself only works when engine is over 2k??

Reply to SuperDave Auto's Post: It seems to be the blower itself. When I turn off the AC switch the blower works fine.

Now you have really confused me. Do you mean that the blower only works over 2k with the a/c is on and that with the a/c off, the blower motor works just fine and normal???

Reply to SuperDave Auto's Post: Yes. If I just have the vent open and the blower on it will blow you out of the car. When I turn the switch for the AC on the Blower goes down until the RPMs go up.

OKay,

Most likely, you have a bad a/c blower motor resistor assy. Replace that and you should be fine. Why they put 2 different resistors on for the fan ... I can't tell you. But they did.

Good Luck. Hit the ACCEPT button. Leave positive feedback if I have been helpful. Thank you. Dave
