Accepted Answer

Since it was a joint account, both parties had equal rights to the money. During the divorce, when it comes to the equitable distribution of property, you can show the bank statements where she withdrew the money and the court can consider that money as part of her equitable distribution and give you something else or deduct it from the amount of property she will receive in the property settlement. You should get an attorney now to protect your assets and your rights.
