Generally speaking and based only on the information contained in your post, you could be subject to criminal l charges and civil action.
The Massachusetts Criminal Statutes provide in Section 13A. that "Whoever commits an assault or an assault and battery upon another shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than 21/2 years in a house of correction or by a fine of not more than $1,000."
You may also be facing driving under the influence charges.
Civilly the driver may bring suit against you to recover for his injuries and pain and suffering.
