I have a 1977 corvette I am too short to depress the clutch fully to release the safety lock out what modifications can I do to the pedal to make the pedal fatter so I can drive the car.

Hi there!Don't modify the pedal.Look under the dash where the pedal arm comes down there should be a switch.This is the switch to keep the car from starting without pushin the clutch.Unplug the switch and connect a jumper wire between the 2 terminals in the wiring harness.This should make it so you can start the car without the clutch being pushed in all the way.Hope this helps!Thanks

Reply to carguy1's Post: if I disable the clutch switch that will render the car unsafe and it will start in any gear. I will accept your answer however it isn't the safest way to go.
