when i truck is sitting it wants to die out but when the air flitter system is off it rans fine

the first thing was the gas to the engine change the air fliter and took the air unit off

Sounds like your experiencing a concern with the idle air control valve being bad or the intake tube has a restriction or the MAF sensor has contamination in it or on the sensing wire.

Reply back and we will go from there if needed. You can reply after you hit accept at any time. If you have a NGS or IDS scan tool I can tell you a bunch of different checks to look at so we can diagnose it with the trucks computer.
