Hi XXXXXXX,

Welcome to Just Answer,

With the system operating, What it the temperature of the rear suction line, where it leaves the rear evaporator unit, by touch? Im just looking for hot, cold , warm.

It is warm.

Accepted Answer

Is the charge of the refrigerant ok, How much refrigerant was put back in after parts replacement. If suction line is warm then we have a problem with the refrigeration system.

Have you replaced the rear Expasion Valve?

the charge is ok. i put 2.7lbs of refrigerant. I have not replaced the rear expasion valve. Where is it located at? thanks.

Answer

2.7 lbs is the correct charge.

The rear Exp valve is located in the rear evaporator case next to the evaporator coil.

To remove it the right inside panel is removed and the evap case is removed, once the case is remove the case separates and the exspansion valve is exposed.

Under side view of hoses both sets must be removed, and the retaining nuts for the case removed.
