Dear Catherine,

A cat should not be subjected to temps over 82. Its true that outdoor kitties are but tey can usually creep under things to keep cool.Indoor cats are not subjected to sun so thats a plus. If you have tile he will lie on that or in the tub or sink to stay cool, if necessary.

I am from NY but live in florida since 1980,hence I keep my air on 80 and my cats are fine.

Fortunately NY does not have our heat but I would keep one room air conditioned so your boy as a choice.

Please let me know if you wish to discuss this further.

Sincerest best wishes,

Terri
