we recently got a new alternator and battery in our 2003 mustang-radio not working...is there a reset process or security code needed please help asap

It is most likely a blown fuse. Check all fuses in both the underhood and interior fuse panels. this is assuming you have a factory ford stereo. It is a module but should not need to be turned on if it is the original radio. Replacement ones need to be
