There are ways to bridge the connector under the hood but bad things can happen if not done properly . I do not recommend doing it with out a special tool . If you on doing alot of repairs your self you could buy a inspection reset tool for about $ 70.00 and upgrade to code readers ect . Check out www.bavauto.com for reset tools and fault code readers .

Thanks

Answer

I have seen bad things happen by jumping the connector pins .

Thanks for the bonus . That web site has some good prices . Also you could check tghe dealer prices , they may seem a little high but they come with a great warranty .

Thanks again .
