Neutering of such a young dog can range anywhere from $25.00 to up to $150.00. This all depends on where you decide to take him. If you are looking for lower cost I would call your local humane society and find out where they are holding their neuter clinics even animal control may be able to give you some suggestions. Costs are lowest this route but you must remember you get what you pay for. In instances like this the animals are not monitored closely with an EKG or pulse ox and in some cases they may not even be intubated. If you were to have him neutered at a regular veterinary hospital then the cost will be increased but these animals usually have an exam prior to sedation, preanesthetic bloodwork, close monitoring and nursing after waking up from surgery.

I think the problem you may run into here is how late it is in getting the pups tail docked. This is normally done by the breeder before the pup is 3-5 days of age. Most vets will decline to perform this surgery at such a late age because trouble healing and more pain response. This type of surgery is not as easy this late in the game and will cost you significantly more as it is even more detailed then the neutering at this point. I could only make a guess at this point that the neutering and tail docking in total would be around 250-300.00. After care will increase this price.

Please let me know if further assistance is needed.
