Question

Model: 2000 S80 T6. The metal bar on the front edge of the sun roof came unglued from the glass. The sun roof will only close half way, and then it just stops as if the bar is needed to trip another switch to complete the sequence to totally close. If it is reglued to the glass, will this fix the problem?

have you looked for a blockage in the sunroof tracks? the metal piece should only be used to move the sunroof cover back with the sunroof. you can try to reglue it, but i have had them come off and not affect anything with or without gluing them. let me know if you have any blockage. will it do anything using the switch manually?
