Distribute:

-27w^9/u^6

Flip it:

7/2

 

, #12 simplify (x^-2)^4

Multiply those exponents:

x^-8

= 1/x^8

 

, #13 simplify 9y^-7 y^7u^9w^-4*3w^-8*2u^-8

Group terms:

9 *3* 2*y^(-7+7) * u(9-8) * w(-4-8)

= 54uw^-12

= 54u / w^12

, #14 simplify (-y^2+9y)+(8y^2-8y-7)-(-5y^2+3y+2)

Distribute the minus sign:

(-y^2+9y)+(8y^2-8y-7)+5y^2-3y-2

Combine like terms:

12y^2 - 2y- 9

#15 perform multiplications 2y^7u^4*2y*5u^2

Group terms:

2*2*5*y^7*y*u^4*u^2

= 20y^8u^6
