Hi my name is John.

  • With wipers in park position, disconnect washer hose from plastic connector.
  • Remove protective cap.
  • Lift wiper arm and insert a suitable pin completely through the two holes located next to pivot of arm.
  • Remove wiper arm retaining nut.
  • Lift arm off its driveshaft using an up and down rocking motion.
  • Remove top vent screen shroud.
  • Disconnect wiper arm drive link from crank arm.
  • Disconnect wiper motor electrical connections.
  • Remove wiper motor attaching bolts then wiper motor guiding crank arm through hole.
  • Reverse steps 6 through 9 to install.
  • Install wiper arms one inch below park position.
  • Remove pin and lower wiper arm into position.
  • Torque a new wiper arm retaining nut to 14.7-17.7 ft. lbs.
  • Run wiper system and ensure correct operation.
  • Replace washer hose and install protective cap

    i need to know how to put a window motor in on a 91 grand prix,not a wiper motor,sorry.

    Are you just changeing the motor or are you replaceing the power window motor and regulator.Which door?

    You have to take the inside door panel off.than remove the watersheild.Yoy will need to support the window (like duct tape ) Than unplug the motor.

    Than you will have to drill out the rivets to remove the rag. and motor ass.

    ok after i drill out the rivets,how does the new motor and regulator attach?new rivets?or something else?

    Yes 1/4 rivets you can buy them at the dealer.You will need to rent or borrow a riveit gun.New riveits
