My grandmother pasted away in 2005, my aunt was executor of her estate, my grandmothers house has 3 years in back taxes and none of her children care about the property, I am willing to pay the back taxes if the house is released to me, what type of transfer deed do I need???

Hi,

If the three children were the beneficiaries of the house and you are not mentioned in the will, your aunt must make three quitclaim deeds to them and then each of them will give you a quitclaim deed to his/her 1/3. You will then have full title; pay the taxes; record the deed and the matter is resolved.
