Info Request

Hello Dixie,

I can help with this, but first I need more information:

1) Is the foal normal and healthy, nursing well, active, happy, normal in his/her activities (nursing, sleeping, running about, etc.)? If not, please describe the foal's condition.

2) Is the mare showing discomfort when the foal nurses? What about when you touch her udder, or draw out some milk?

3) Does the mare look normal, healthy, etc. or does she look ill or off-color?

4) Have you taken her temperature?

5) Is the mare in a stall, paddock, or out on pasture?

6) Is this your first time with a newly born foal and nursing mare?

Please be as complete and detailed as you can. The reply box is small but it will hold an unlimited amount of text so just keep typing!
