I have acquired a nearly new genuine BMW towbar for my 120d, unfortunately it did not come with instructions, and the breakers cut the wiring harness off at the car so there are no connectors. I need the proper instructions/ manual and a wiring diagram to be able to do the job properly, also there is some sort of sealed device attached to the wiring by a plug - I have not yet worked out what this is.

Can you please supply the last 7 digits of the VIN.

Hi Lee.

The part number on the towbar is TS6763348073 and the last 7 digits of the VIN are JV41886.

Hello paul,

That doesnt look like a BMW part number. It should have 11 numbers.

I searched for installation instructions for your vehicle. I believe I found some.
