Question

I have have an 2002 Buick GS. On the tollway I punched it to get into the exit lane -- maybe 85-90 MPH. When I slowed down the engine died. I tried to start it when I came to a stop. After several attempts it started but wouldn''t accelatrate. Finally after idleing for a minute or so, it took gas. This problem persisted for several miles. I was able to nurse it home. The check engine light did not come on.   What do you think? I''m kinda thinking it might be a partially plugged fuel filter, or a fuel pump going bad. The vehicle has 48,000 Miles. I filled it up last night and drove 180 miles without trouble.   Thanks for your help, Bill
