Dear Pet Answer, could you e-mail me a diagram showing the inside of a budgerigar (parakeet). I''m especially interested in learning where their liver and heart are exactly located. thank you. Leslie Wright

You can see the heart is protected by the ribs and is below the crop area.
The liver is between the heart and instestinal tract area.
