Question

I have a 2005 Corvette, LS1. Over the weekend, the battery charge was low enough that the keyless entry would not work. I accessed the hood and drivers door through the rear hatch and the alarm went off and drained the battery. After I re-charge the battery, should everything work as it did before? Should the car start using the keyless entry as it did before?

Accepted Answer

As long as the system is restored to full state of charge there shouldn't be any problems other than the clock setting to 12:00. If by chance the alarm does go off you will be able to disarm it using the key fob. If you run into any snags say with a warning light staying on by all means contact your local Chevy dealer and have it scanned for trouble codes. But I don't see that happening ok.
