Why do occassionally hear ringing, and my hearing is getting worse

Tinnitus, or ringing in the ears can be caused by many things- ear infection, fluid in the ears, medications, aging, and trauma. Treatment depends on what the cause may be, although in many cases there is no specific treatment. Sometimes it just simply goes away. You can read more information about tinnitus here
