Reply to Gina's Post: She ate them aproximently 16 hours ago, no vomiting yet, however she did go outside, last night-passed some liguid, then again this am 630- she is not painful in her gut, but is a bit grouchy, wants to drink LOTS of water, but I have only allowed her to drink small amouts at a time.

I would worry a bit about the condition called bloat if she was distended. I do worry about a blockage of the GI tract. Given the molasses and the amount she ate, an obstruction is possible. If this happened a bit sooner than 16 hours ago, I might have had you induce vomiting, but its too late for that at this point. If you want to wait and see, you can try giving her a quarter of a cup of plain canned pumpkin, since she is a big girl, as this will add some fiber to help her pass the mixture, but if she is still having some discomfort in a couple hours, have her seen. And do make sure you let her out to potty quite a bit. Let me know how you make out with her and best of luck :)

Reply to Gina's Post: Hi Gina-
Our dog came home 3 days later after the emergency vet- we went directly 1 hour after the pumpkin didn't work and she threw it up- thank goodness she was on the verge of bloat- thankfully she didn't but the cookies really upset her GI because she couldn't digest them. She ended up have severe vomiting, and diarrhea-Thanks for the advice, and your suggestion to get her to a vet-Unfortunately those horse cookies cost me 1900.00 OUCH-
