2001 525 trunk mounted 6 CD changer. While changing cd''s with radio controls, in the last couple of weeks, changer fails and the "cd error" note is displayed on radio. I take changer out and take outer shell off, plug back in and then it works fine! Put cover back on, re-install, and it might work for a day or two, and then the same situation again. What needs adjusting? Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.....Roger

well , there are no adjustment to be made . what you could try to do before replacing the cd changer is to try replacing the cd cassette . if that doesn't do it contact your dealer and see what they charge to have the cd changer sent out for repairs or have it exchanged ( check with the parts department , if you talk to service they will want to charge you to take it out , you can do that yourself ) .
