Question

My 4 month Yorkie has a not, bump, on the right side of her top rihgt hip, it is hard, but does not seem to hurt her, I need to know whate it could be at this young of age? She is very active and healthy otherwise, it it something to be concerned about?

Did your dog recently get a rabies vaccination in that area?

I thought so. A lump at the vaccination site is a common side effect. In most cases it will resolve itself in a couple of weeks. If for some reason it does not go away, you would then want to have your vet take a look at it. Most of the time, they do disappear after a week or so. You can read about vaccine reactions here:
