Hello there,
I am sorry to tell you that there are currently no treatments for this condition, or cures. However, there are things you can do to to keep this under control a little better. These things include, visiting a neurologist often, to monitor your progress. Finding a good physical therapist is important as well. This will help preserve your flexibility. Following a good diet, and having a dietitian to help is also a good idea, this can help you avoid extra weight that can cause problems and stress on your muscles that are weak already. Pain management is also an important key factor here. This can be done with your doctor's advice. Here is a wonderful link to a web site that discusses these conditions and much more about this disease. Thank you http://www.fshsociety.org/fsh/PatientBrochure.html
