Question

I have a golden retriever. She is going to be 2 in may. We had her bred, but it has only been 1wk since there were stuck. She woke up today with watery eyes like she had been crying and Idon''t know why? I didn''t know if this is related to her being bred or if she has a cold or if it is just common in the breed? There is no eye gook, her nose is cold and wet.

Nothing yet, It just happened today. She has gotten up with teary eyes before but not like this. Normally it is just one eye and not a noticable.

Hi there,

I am sorry your girl is not feeling well.

You can safely give her one mg per lb of benedryl. Apply a damp teabag to her eyes.

This may just be an allergic reaction. However there is a nasty canine flu and upper respiratories going around that are very contagious.

Since she is going to be a mommy would have a vet check her if she developes any of the above symptoms.

We are hoping she is pregnant but we don't know yet. I just don't know what to expect. I guess I am just a nervous nanny. Thankyou for your time.
