Hello. This sounds like could be a pretty complicated problem that might need hands on diagnosis to figure out but I will try to give you some guidance. By your description you now have the injectors working and a starter. Did you check and replace the spark plugs? By cutting out do you mean that it runs for a while and then shuts off? Or does it just sputter and die right away? The problem could be an air leak/vacuum leak. It could be spark related. Does you have good spark to the plugs? It could be fuel related that the fuel pump is not supplying enough fuel pressure or the fuel filter or lines could be clogged. A fuel pressure test would be needed to check this. It also could be internal in the engine-valves not sealing, failed head gasket, worn piston rings. All of this would require specialized testing. Or it could be as simpe as a bad idle air valve. You will need to check the basics first-fuel delivery, good spark signal, unmetered air....then check air flow sensor, idle air valve, ....then a compression test and cylinder leakage test to check the engine.
