ZooCVT:hello
AllenandChili:hello
ZooCVT:do you have more than one cat?
AllenandChili:no
ZooCVT:does he tend to play rough?
AllenandChili:ya, he is deffinity on the rough side
ZooCVT:is he squinting at all and is there any discharge?
AllenandChili:no, he seams to not even know it is there, he has had a slear fluid run from his eyes a couple times in the past
AllenandChili:clear fluid
ZooCVT:I think he may have injured his eye....possibly a scratch on his cornea
AllenandChili:do i need to do anything
ZooCVT:I would have your vet take a look at it and stain it to see if there is a scratch and then they can give you the proper medication
AllenandChili:is this something I should do right now, or can i wait till the non emergency vet is open tomorrow
ZooCVT:As long as he is acting normally otherwise and eating, then it can wait until tomorrow
AllenandChili:ya, he is not acting strange at all...he just jumped on the couch and I noticed it, I didnt notice it when i got home
ZooCVT:Anything else I can help you with?
ZooCVT:thats good then he should be fine til morning
AllenandChili:thank you, is the clear fluid that runs from his eyes once in a while normal?
ZooCVT:is it from both eyes?
AllenandChili:ya
ZooCVT:depends...sometimes it is normal to an extent but really depends on how much is draining
ZooCVT:sometimes allergies can cause watering
AllenandChili:just a drop or so
ZooCVT:do you ever notice any sneezing?
AllenandChili:no
ZooCVT:yeah it may just be normal discharge but I would watch it closely for changes in color and amount and definately mention it to the vet when you have him in
AllenandChili:ok,thank you
ZooCVT:good luck with him!
