Answer

Hello,

The first thing i would have checked is the fuel pressure. Sometimes when the fuel pump is starting to go out it cant get enough fuel to the engine. Does your car hesitate any other time? Like cruising at high speeds or anything?

Thanks,

Adam

No only from a start up. Like taking off from a stop. It seems to do it if you give it a heavy acceleration. The car seems to shake.

Answer

Hello,

I would try replacing the air filter, if you havent done so recently. Also try running a fuel system cleaner through your gas tank. Those would be the first things I would try since they are cheap. If that doesn't fix your problem look at the fuel filter. Remember if those don't work and you have to take it somewhere and have them check your fuel pressure. Make sure they will take off the cost of the inspection if you decide to have it fixed there. Hope this helps.

Adam.

P.S. Please remember to leave a positive feedback when you accept. Thanks.

It turned out to be an overcharging alternator. Chuck

Really. How did you find that out? Thats a new one to me. Did you replace the alt. then? Did it fix your problem?

Please accept and leave a positive feedback. just so you know we only get 25% of what you pay for the answers and the website gets the rest. I spent about an hour researching your car model. I would appreciate at least a positive feedback! Thanks again. Adam

A friend said to check the charging system. I did the alternator was over 15.5 volts. Replaced the alternator & everything fine now.The alternator was a remanufactured model still under warantee, so got a new one free. Chuck
