Hi Daryl:
actually, the idler bearings wore out and came off (which I replaced) but it tore the belt off in the process. I put on a new idler wheel and a belt but it has about two inches of play.
Accepted Answer
This should have a spring self adjusting tensioner, either the tentioner is stuck or the belt is the wrong one. If the tentioner is stuck then it will need to be replaced.

Reply to high tech's Post: Yep. Your right. It is a spring loaded self adjusting tensioner. (I stuck a pry bar in between the wheels and is moved back and forth). I guess I need another belt that is smaller.
